Terms of service
Effective 2026-06-02
Acceptance of terms
By using Guildhall you agree to these terms, our privacy policy, and our community guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Accounts
You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for the security of your account.
User-generated content
You retain ownership of the content you post (listings, bios, applications). You grant Guildhall a license to display and operate that content as part of the service.
Listings and applications
Listings are descriptions of tables, not commitments. Organizers decide who joins their table. Applicants decide whether to apply.
Organizer responsibilities
Organizers must describe their tables honestly, respect player boundaries, and follow our community guidelines.
Prohibited conduct
Harassment, hate, threats, doxxing, spam, scams, sexual solicitation, and unsafe behavior are not permitted. See our community guidelines for the full list.
Disclaimers
Guildhall is a discovery and scheduling platform. We do not guarantee the behavior of any user. Compatibility scores are planning aids, not guarantees.
Advertising
Guildhall is free to use and supported by advertising. Ads are provided by third parties (currently Google AdSense / Ad Manager) and are labeled as ads where they appear. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for the products, services, or content of any advertisement, and any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and them.
Advertising never affects matching, visibility, or scheduling on Guildhall. You can choose personalized ads, non-personalized ads, or no ads at all in our cookie banner, as described in the Cookies and Privacy pages. We may change or replace our advertising partners over time.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Guildhall is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost data, lost revenue, or harm arising from another user's behavior. Guildhall is provided free of charge, so to the extent permitted by law our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to 100 EUR.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including statutory consumer rights in your jurisdiction.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time.
Governing law
Guildhall is operated by an individual based in Florida, United States. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Florida are the venue for any dispute. If you are located in the EU or UK, mandatory local consumer protection laws in your country of residence still apply and take precedence where they provide stronger protections.
