What's new: simpler nav, faster pickers, and the new Campfire
By The Guildhall Team
Lots of small things landed over the last week. Here are the bits that touch what you see when you sign in.
The Campfire, now with tabs
The Campfire is the page you're on right now. It's split into Stories (essays and behind-the-scenes), Guides (how-to articles), Dispatches (these notes on what's new), FAQ (quick answers), and The Road Ahead (where the site is going next). Find what you came for without scrolling through everything.
A simpler sidebar
The left nav is down to five things: Tavern, Study, Quest Board, Timetable, and Campfire. Your profile and account settings moved into Settings, one tap deeper, so the main nav isn't doing two jobs at once.
Searchable country and timezone
Anywhere the site asks for your country or timezone, you can search by typing instead of trying to remember the exact spelling. Same idea for picking a time on a session listing. The old free-text inputs caused too many "PST" vs "America/Los_Angeles" mismatches.
Filter the Quest Board by what you've already done
Above the usual filters on the Quest Board there's a new row of pills: All, Saved, Applied, Approved. Find tables you've bookmarked or already applied to without scrolling the whole list.
The setup checklist counts your visits
The setup checklist on the Tavern and Study pages now ticks off "browse the Quest Board" when you actually visit, not only after you apply to something. Same for "review applicants" on the organizer side.
What's coming next
The Road Ahead tab has the full picture. Short version: opening sign-up to more people, a few optional cosmetics like the candle-lit Torchlight theme, and board games as a fourth pillar after that.
